Physio partnerships for care homes
Plan physiotherapy support around your residents and care team. Discuss individual rehabilitation, suitable group activity or staff support, then agree scope and funding.
Appointments depend on your address, travel and our diary.
Coverage details
Area pages help you plan a visit; they do not guarantee coverage for every address. We check your exact visit address, travel and clinician availability before showing appointment times.
Start with the needs of the home.
A useful care-home partnership is built around residents rather than a fixed package. We discuss your priorities, the support already in place and where physiotherapy may contribute. Together we can define suitable work, who will be involved and how it will be funded and reviewed.
Who are care-home partnerships for?
- Managers seeking planned physiotherapy support for residents.
- Homes considering individual rehabilitation, suitable group activity or staff guidance.
- Care teams who want an agreed point of contact and clear service arrangements.
What could a partnership involve?
An initial discussion with the manager or nominated contact helps define the proposed service. For resident work, we consider individual needs, consent and existing care plans. Any group activity, staff guidance, progress communication or written information is scoped and agreed as part of the arrangement, rather than assumed to be included.
How physiotherapy can help
- Discuss individual resident assessments and rehabilitation needs.
- Consider appropriate group movement activities and staff support.
- Agree contact, consent, funding and communication arrangements before starting.
Before we begin
- Outline the home’s priorities, existing therapy provision and proposed work without including identifiable resident details in a general enquiry.
- Tell us about space, access, staff involvement and the person who can agree the service and funding.
Agree the service and funding
Tell us about your residents, existing provision, practical arrangements and priorities. Scope, consent, staffing, fees and reporting are agreed before a partnership starts. Please do not include identifiable resident information in a public enquiry.
Discuss a care-home partnershipQuestions before arranging care
Can you discuss both individual and group work?
Yes. We can discuss individual visits and group activity. Suitability, aims, group size and the support required are considered before agreeing the work.
How are fees and the service agreed?
Contact us with the proposed scope. Fees, scheduling, funding responsibility and the work to be provided are agreed before the arrangement begins. A partnership enquiry does not create an ongoing contract.
Can the manager receive progress updates?
We can discuss what communication is useful and agree its scope. Sharing resident information depends on consent or other appropriate arrangements; routine reports or a particular reporting schedule are not automatically included.

Clinic, solicitor or employer referrals
Clinic appointments are at our Newham clinic in Plaistow. A home-area guide is not another clinic location.
For professional home referrals, agree suitability, location, funding and reporting with the team first. A normal online booking does not establish an agency or employer agreement.
Discuss care for your residents
Scope, staffing, timing and fees are agreed before work begins.
