Safety, Standards and Clinical Oversight
This page explains how clinical care is governed at Nexus Physiotherapy. It outlines our approach to safety, safeguarding, documentation, and service quality review.
Clinical Effectiveness
Assessment, treatment planning, and review are delivered using evidence-informed physiotherapy practice.
Patient Safety
Safety screening is completed at assessment and any change in risk is reviewed at follow-up appointments.
Safeguarding
Safeguarding procedures are in place for children and adults at risk, with escalation routes where required.
Information Governance
Patient records and communications are handled in line with UK GDPR and clinical confidentiality requirements.
Assurance Measures
HCPC registration and professional accountability for treating clinicians
Structured assessment and outcome review process
Incident and near-miss logging with review actions
Complaints and feedback review through a documented process
Planned policy and document review schedule
Incidents and Concerns
Clinical incidents, near misses, and patient concerns are documented and reviewed. Where appropriate, actions are implemented and tracked.
Patients can raise concerns through the Contact page or directly with the clinic team. Serious concerns are escalated using internal governance procedures.
