Exercise Therapy
Exercise therapy uses movement and strengthening selected for your condition, current ability and goals. Your physiotherapist reviews how you respond and adjusts the plan rather than handing everyone the same routine.
These are treatment methods considered within physiotherapy. Book an assessment so your physiotherapist can discuss what is suitable for your condition and goals.

Where it fits
Exercise may be used by itself or with advice and hands-on care, depending on the assessment. The starting level should fit what you can do now, not an idealised end goal.
Important limits
There is no universal exercise dose or fixed recovery timetable. After surgery, the hospital and surgeon's restrictions take priority over general exercise advice.
