WPA physiotherapy in Newham

Book physiotherapy at Nexus Newham once WPA has approved your treatment and chosen clinician. Our Plaistow clinic provides assessment and rehabilitation for muscle and joint problems.

Approval must match your policy, physiotherapist and treatment location. Cover is not guaranteed by a provider number.

Set up your claim before treatment

WPA asks members to start a claim before tests or treatment and provide the healthcare provider's details. You can use My WPA, the WPA Health app or its helpdesk. Ask about any excess, Shared Responsibility contribution or benefit limit as well as the session allowance.

Questions to confirm with your provider

  • What referral or assessment route does my WPA policy require?
  • Is the named Nexus physiotherapist approved at the Newham location?
  • What authorisation reference and treatment allowance should I give the clinic?
  • Do I have Shared Responsibility, an excess or a remaining benefit limit?

What to have ready

Use the individual practitioner number in our directory for Haris Imran or Imran Gull. Keep WPA's authorisation details with your membership information and tell us if the authorised physiotherapist or allowance changes.

WPA booking questions

What is Shared Responsibility?

It is a contribution arrangement that may apply to your WPA policy. Ask WPA to explain your own share and any limits before treatment; do not assume that an authorised appointment has no personal cost.

Can I choose either Nexus physiotherapist?

Ask WPA to approve the clinician you intend to see at Newham. The directory lists individual practitioner numbers, but your claim approval still needs to match the appointment.

Is a WPA cash benefit the same as insured treatment?

No. WPA distinguishes medical insurance claims from cash benefits. If you are paying and claiming a cash benefit, confirm that arrangement with WPA and Nexus instead of assuming direct billing applies.

Ready for your appointment?

Have your treatment approval to hand, or use our booking guide if you still need authorisation.

This is Nexus booking guidance, not confirmation of your policy benefits. Follow your provider's current terms. Compare insurance and cash-plan booking routes.
