If your BHSF cash plan includes physiotherapy, book a self-pay appointment at Nexus in Plaistow and claim eligible costs through your policyholder account after treatment.
You pay Nexus first. Your provider decides what your plan will reimburse.
Use the benefit listed on your own policy
BHSF's claims guide asks you to select the policy, person and relevant benefit, then upload a clear image of the original receipt. A card receipt alone is not accepted. If the expected benefit is not listed in your account, ask BHSF before assuming the treatment will be reimbursed.

Your invoice and treatment details
Keep your paid Nexus itemised invoice. Check that the patient's name, treatment date, description, payment and treating-practitioner details meet your plan's rules; contact us for any missing information after your visit. BHSF assesses the claim, not the clinic.
Keep a copy of your evidence and use your provider's secure claims service. Please do not send policy documents or payment details through a public website message.

We assess your symptoms, explain the findings and agree a recovery plan. Treatment may include hands-on care and exercise, depending on what is appropriate for you.

BHSF booking questions
What if physiotherapy is not listed when I start a claim?
BHSF directs members to its helpdesk when a benefit is missing. Confirm your entitlement before booking if you are relying on reimbursement.
Is a BHSF digital physiotherapy service the same as a Nexus appointment?
No. A plan may include digital services as well as, or instead of, cash benefits. Check that your own policy reimburses the in-person appointment you want at Nexus.
Who submits the BHSF claim?
You submit it through the method provided for your plan, after treatment. Nexus provides payment documentation and can help with missing clinic or practitioner details, but cannot approve the claim.
